Special implants in their nervous system enable them to direct electrical energy through their palms, which have been inscribed with copper. The energy builds up rapidly as the Shock Priest reaches an ecstatic state. When in their most intense religious fervor, the faithful can obliterate their adversaries with lightning bolts.

Also, I did not receive a medic bag or bannerman in my command squad. Although I did get a female medic, I don't know if that's a bonus or just to make up for no medic bag. The heavy mortar was a nice bonus.
